This book is the valuable dictionary in Persian language that its main title is "Zafan-i guya va jahan-i puya", which is known as "Panj bakhshi". This book contains a collection of usual Persian words in its time of publishing that was gathered by "Badr Al-din Ibrahim" in India. This book was the main source of other valuable Persian-Persian dictionaries such as, Burhan-i Qati', Jahangiri and others. Also this dictionary contains: singulars, compounds, idioms, Greek and Roman and Arabic and Turkish interfering words and also contains equal Indian words that are necessary for acquainted with the past of Indian language and its grammar. اين كتاب يكي از لغت نامه هاي معتبر و ارزنده زبان فارسي است كه نام اصلي آن "زفان گويا و جهان پويا" است كه به نام فرهنگ "پنج بخشي" شهرت يافته است. اين فرهنگ شامل مجموعه لغات متداول فارسي عصر خود است كه از سده هاي 7و 8 در سرزمين هند توسط فاضلي به نام "بدرالدين ابراهيم" فراهم آمده است. اين فرهنگ منبع بسياري از فرهنگ هاي معتبر فارسي به فارسي از قبيل برهان قاطع، جهانگيري و مانند آنها است. بعلاوه اين فرهنگ شامل: بخش مفردات، تركيبات، اصطلاحات، واژه هاي دخيل از يوناني و رومي و عربي و تركي و حتي معادل هاي هندي كه براي شناخت گذشته زبان هندي و مسايل دستوري مربوط به آن زبان بسيار ارزشمند است. نسخه فرهنگ پنج بخشي با خطي آميخته از نسخ و نستعليق در هند نوشته شده كه نسخه اي از آن در كتابخانه مجلس مضبوط است.
