Religious Intellectualism: Liberal or Pious? This research shows that the conceptual framework and discourse of various currents in Iran and revisionists who splintered from the Islamic Republic System or those who will splinter in the future, theoretically or in actuality, unlike their usage of various religious title and descriptions, are liberal, secular and out of religious discourse and are either parallel to the Islamic Republic System or stand against it.
