This is a collection of biographies of two generals, one of whom is one of the most outstanding kings in terms of his generosity and kindness, and most historians have commented on him that if he was successful against his powerful opponent, he would build Iran on such a basis. It goes on to say that it was not comparable to the Qajar period. The other had no equal in murder and bloodshed, and to establish rule in his family, he used all kinds of severe tortures and painful punishments on the people.

این مجموعه سرگذشت دو سرداری است که یکی در مردم داری و رئوفت و مهربانی در ردیف برجسته ترین پادشاهان بشمار می آید که بیشتر مورخین درباره ی او چنین اظهار نظر کرده اند که چنانچه در مقابل حریف زورمند خود توفیق می یافت ایران را به پایه ای آنچنان بلند می رساند که قابل قیاس با دوره قاجار نبود. دیگری در آدم کشی و خونخواری نظیر وهم مانند نداشت و برای استقرار حکومت در خاندان خود انواع شکنجه های سخت و عقوبت های دردناک را درباره ی مردم اعمال می کرد.
