خاطرات من عبدالله ناهید روایت یک دورهٔ پرفراز و نشیب از تاریخ گوشه‌ای از سرزمین ایران است؛ سرگذشت سقز در سال‌های جنگ اوّل جهانی به قلم یکی از بیگ‌زاده‌های آن سامان که در کنار ثبت و ضبط مجموعه‌ای از دقایق و جزئیات، روایت بزرگ‌زادهٔ عارف‌مسلکی از حوادث گذرای روزگار نیز هست و در کنار این گزارش، یک سعی و تلاش مستمر برای کاستن از مصائب و دشواری‌هایی که در خلال حوادثی از این دست دامنگیر مردم تیره‌بخت می‌شود.
