“Ze Goftār-e Dehqān (From the Words of the Farmer)” is a poetic and prose retelling of Hakim Abol-Qasem Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh, prepared by Eqbal Yaghmaei. The work preserves selected passages from Ferdowsi’s original verse while presenting the narratives in fluent prose, making the stories and themes of the Shahnameh more accessible to contemporary readers.

Beyond his educational and journalistic activities, Yaghmaei published numerous works in literature, history, research, and the adaptation of classical texts, playing an important role in introducing Iran’s literary heritage to younger generations.
