A Meeting in the Atlantic is a novel crafted through the fusion of imagination and reality. Blending the world of cinema with the real world, the story casts Michael Corleone, the young hero of The Godfather, out of the film’s universe after he kills those responsible for the attempt on his father’s life, hurling him into a film dubbing studio in Tehran in the mid-1970s. There, in the midst of the dreamlike night of Rose's birthday, he encounters a young dubbing trainee who has just performed her first minor role and has no idea how to react to this unexpected meeting with the cinematic hero she deeply admires. This marks only the beginning of the story of Rose and Michael, unfolding against the turbulent backdrop of those restless years in Iran.
