During the global COVID-19 pandemic, when people around the world were confined to their homes, Michael contracts the virus. As his condition rapidly worsens, he is taken to the hospital, where he is quickly admitted to a room shared with seven other patients and placed on oxygen support.

Now weakened and disoriented, Michael's mind drifts restlessly between the present and the past. His memories are dominated by a single person: Sara.
