«در حالی که نمیتوانم عمق این فاجعه را بهطور کامل درک کنم، اما میتوانم آن را احساس کنم. هرگاه میکوشم صدای مردمی تسخیرناپذیر را که در لاهه افتخار دیدارشان را داشتم بازتاب دهم، به خود میبالم. زمانی که تلاش میکنم صحنه را برای ثبت صلابت آنان در برابر ظلمی وصفناپذیر در ذهن مجسم کنم، دلم میلرزد.
