"An Introduction to the Sociology of Literature" is a collection of thirty-one articles by twenty great and well-known thinkers of the world, which Dr. "Mohammad Jafar Poyandeh" has translated into Persian. The first thinker whose essays are selected in this book is "Lucien Goldman", from whom three articles have been brought in line with the sociology of literature. Articles by "Jacques Lenard" have been selected regarding the various branches of this field, and then essays by "Jean-Yves Ait" have been mentioned to introduce its founders. To describe the experimental and dialectical methods in the sociology of literature and the sociology of the novel, articles by "Pierre V. Zima" have been collected, and an article by Dr. "Mohammad Jafar Poyandeh" entitled "Kohler: A New Perspective in the Sociology of Literature" has been brought. The thinkers whose articles appear in the book are Guy Planty-Bonjour, Georg Lukacs, and Mikhail Bakhtin, who have written valuable articles on Belinsky's aesthetics, aesthetic realism, the destinies of the theory of time, the fundamental issues surrounding a baseless controversy, the triumph of realism, the socio-historical context of the development of the historical novel, the ideal of art, Rabelais and the history and culture of popular humor, carnival and grotesque realism, the polyphonic novel, and content, materials, and form in literary works. Other famous thinkers whose works are included in the book "Introduction to the Sociology of Literature" include Bertolt Brecht, Theodor Adorno, Henri Zalamansky, Georges Labica, Jacques Donat, Georges Huacu, Franco Ferrarotti, Victor Serge, Antonio Gramsci, Alexandra Kollontai, and Michel Butor.
