Nour is an archaeologist living in a camp in Ramallah. One day, he finds a blue identity card in the pocket of an old coat, so he wears the mask of the occupier in an attempt to understand the vocabulary of the Zionist mind. In Nour’s transformation into Ur, and his joining an excavation mission in one of the settlements, Palestine, buried under the soil, with all its history, is revealed. In the distance between Nour and Ur, between Nour and his new love, between the blue identity card and the declaration, between the original marginalized narrative and the prevailing fabricated narrative, will Nour succeed in throwing off the mask and eliminating Ur, perhaps reaching the light?
