This work by Miguel de Unamuno is one of the most eminent classic examples of the modern novel. Fiction here ceases to be a pure narrative vehicle, the transmitter of stories and becomes a textual universe of fruitful suggestions. The title, Fog, clearly expresses the novel's purpose of blurring the visible and materializing, instead, the impalpable.
