Beginners - Pre-intermediate level, CEFR A1-B1. The first volume in a series of textbooks of Italian conversation that aims to provide the necessary opportunities and tips to enable students to speak spontaneously and correctly in Italian. At the same time it prepares students to successfully take oral exams as part of the CELI 1 and 2; CILS A1, A2 and Uno-B1; and PLIDA A1, A2, B1 certifications or other diplomas. The book contains 35 topical units. Each thematic unit includes: photo-stimuli, a number of questions, useful vocabulary, speaking activities and a role-play. Discussions are constantly renewed, taking cues from the material presented, always trying to keep students' interest and the lesson rhythm alive. The book is completed by a glossary and two short tests. La Prova Orale 1 can be adopted by beginners as well as near beginners and can be used up to the pre-intermediate level; this book has also been designed to fit in with various lesson curricula.
