Stories of Mantiq Al-tiyr by Attar Niyshaburi are published in poem and simple prose. The first part of the book is "Voice of love and philosophy" that is the story of birds and their flying to "Ghaf" to see phoenix. The second part is the story of Sheikh Sanan and Christian girl's love. The third part is "Thought of love and philosophy", which contains subordinates stories of Mantiq Al-tiyr and the seven steps of behaviour (desire, love, wisdom, self-sufficiency, monotheism and poverty and perdition) are describe in birds fictions and other stories.

در كتاب داستان هاي منطق الطير، ابتدا با متن اصلي در قالب شعر و سپس روايت ساده آن به نثر بازگو مي شود. بخش نخست كتاب با نام "آواي عشق و حكمت"، شرح داستان مرغان و حركت به سوي قاف و ديدار با سيمرغ است. در بخش دوم، داستان شيخ صنعان و عشق دختر ترسا است. بخش سوم نيز با عنوان "سوداي عشق و حكمت" مشتمل بر داستان هاي فرعي منطق الطير است كه در انتها نيز مراحل هفت گانه سلوك (طلب، عشق، معرفت، استغنا، توحيد و فقر و فنا) در قالب داستان پرندگان و داستان هاي ديگر توصيف شده است.
