مجموعه اي كه تقديم خوانندگان گرامي مي گردد، گزينش و تركيبي است از 10 مقاله در مباحث ايدئولوژيك كه تا حدودي سير تحول فكري نويسنده را كه متأثراز جريانات فكري روزگار و تأثيرگذار بر روند نوگرايي ديني بوده است، در ربع قرن پس از تبعيد رضا شاه كه دوران تدارك و تربيت اوليه جريان اسلام دانشگاهي بوده است، نشان مي دهد. بيشترين مقالات اين مجموعه، متن تدوين شده و تفصيل يافته سخنرانيهايي است كه مهندس "مهدي بازرگان" در انجمن اسلامي دانشجويان در اعياد مذهبي ايراد نموده و ابتدا در نشرياتي همچون: فروغ علم، پيكار انديشه، مجموعه حكمت و... درج گشته اند
