The enlightenment which began in Europe in the 18th century, is one of the most important and fateful events of the culture of the world, that one of its most notable achievements is democracy, which is the result of critical thought. The writer shows that philosophers of the enlightenment could banish christianity from usual and cultural life, through critique and change it into private affair of man. The present book is a research regarding collection of tendencies, thoughts and various views which are known as the enlightenment. The writer presents a complete and new picture of this various and multilateral movement through studying and evaluating modern researches.
