The present book is a concise biography of almost 2300 men and women specialist in the fields of religion, politics, university, economics, literature, art, cinema, society, and knowledge of Iran, who lived between the years 1300 - 1412 or 1882 - 1991 and were effective and efficient in their speciality. Their citizenship, sexuality, trade dependence, beliefs, and religion were not interfered in writing of the present book and our criterion was merely being Iranian and their impression on or from Iran

اين كتاب چكيده زندگينامه هاي حدود 23000 نفر از مردان و زنان مذهبي، سياسي، دانشگاهي، اقتصادي، ادبي، هنري، سينمايي، اجتماعي و ايران شناس را در بر دارد كه در محدودة سالهاي 1412 - 1300 هجري قمري ( 1991 - 1882 ) ميلادي مي زيسته و منشأ اثري دربارة ايران در چارچوب تخصص خود بوده اند. در نگارش كتاب، شهروندي، جنسيت، وابستگي صنفي، اعتقادات و مذهب اشخاص دخالت داده نشده است و صرفا" معيار انتخاب ما، ايراني بودن صاحبان زندگينامه ها و يا تأثير و تأثر آنان در ايران و از ايران بوده است.
