Cyrus the Great is undoubtedly one of the most well-known and influential personalities of the ancient world. His moral character and statecraft have always been the focus of various groups from ancient times to the present day. For this reason, historians, linguists, archaeologists, and religious scholars have discussed and researched various aspects of the life of this unique face of Iranian history. The present book is actually a translation of various articles by prominent Iranologists on the topics of religion, name, and identity of Cyrus the Great. Perhaps this point can be considered as the distinguishing feature of this work from the works available in the Iranian book market.
