Writing the translation history of any language, or any country, is not the work of a few people. Until all the translated works or at least parts of all the translations are matched with their originals by those who are fluent in both the source and destination languages and the subject of the work, and the summation resulting from the evaluation of all the translations, considering the factors affecting them, is not obtained. The way to write the history of translation in its true meaning will not be paved. Abdul Hossein Azarang, one of the most knowledgeable researchers of Iran's publishing history, has gone to the history of translation this time. The history of translation in Iran, from the earliest times to our current era, has witnessed the emergence of several translation movements in several different historical periods. such as movements in the Sasanian, Samanian, and Qajar eras, the decades of 1320-1340, and after the revolution of 1357. The present book reaches the end of its research until the end of the Qajar period, and the author emphasizes that all translations from 1300 to 1357 should be reviewed and should be evaluated so that the translation date can be written after the Qajar period until the end of the Pahlavi period. The editing and content supervision of the book History of Translation in Iran was carried out by Professor Kamran Fani as requested by the author. Abdul Hossein Azarang is a scholar and researcher of publishing history, who has published various books in the field of Iranian publishing history before him.
