In this book, the term infrastructure is not used in its technical and engineering sense, but in its human and social sense. That is, in the sense of infrastructure structures on which the foundations of social life are based. The first question is, what should we consider as social infrastructure, and the next question is whether these infrastructures include a specific area, and can various urban spaces be changed in such a way that they can have such a function? With an overview of the types of social infrastructure, the book has categorized them from the point of view of the type of links and the extent and strength of the interactions that can be established between different social groups.
