The subject of this book is articles and speeches related to modernity and nationalism in Iran and Turkey. The present book is a rewritten text of five articles and a detailed essay written between 1371 and 1388 AH. They were published in the quarterly magazine "Naghah No" (five chapters) and the monthly magazine "Jahan Kitab" (one article). The subject of these articles is the emergence of the idea of nationality or nationalism in Iran and Turkey and its theoretical and practical reflections on the political culture of these two countries. In these articles, there are many quotes from publications and books that have been published in Iran over the past hundred years. In these quotations, except for a few exceptions, the writing style of the original source has been preserved. The book was compiled with the aim of a historical investigation of the process of nationalism in Iran and Turkey.
