That night, when I entered the living room, I saw Hessam sleeping on a couch, I threw a blanket on him and I lay down near Hessam. It was almost three in the morning when I was sleeping in this house, day and night as if he and I were lost. We were like two wandering souls, both alone and isolated, but we both found our peace in this loneliness. But on this cold winter night, he didn't remember Bahark until morning, a sort of torment of conscience. I knew that Hossam didn't go to his room because he was afraid of Bahark.

آن شب وقتی وارد سالن شدم حسام را دیدم که روی کاناپه ای به خواب رفته بود پتویی رویش انداختم و خودم هم همانجا نزدیک حسام دراز کشیدم ساعت نزدیک سه صبح بود که می خوابیدم در این خانه شب و روز انگار گم شده بود، من و حسام مثل دو روح سرگردان بودیم هر دو تنها و منزوی، اما هر دو در این تنهایی آرامش خود را پیدا می کردیم. اما در این شب سرد و زمستانی یاد بهارک نذاشت تا صبح چشم روی هم بزارم یه جورایی عذاب وجدان .داشتم می دانستم که حسام هم از ترس بهارک به اتاقش نرفته بود.
