مجموعة حاضر، اسناد تغيير لباس و كشف حجاب در عصر ديكتاتوري رژيم رضاخان است كه از زواياي گوناگون فرهنگي، اقتصادي، سياسي و جامعه شناسي به اين مسئله مي پردازد و تصويري جامع از زمينه ها، شرايط، عوامل و نتايج حكومت رضاخان ارائه مي نمايد. در مقدمه، اين كتاب به بررسي نقش استعمار در ايران، انجام كودتا و تسخير مرحله به مرحله مناصب مهم ، و در پايان، تغيير سلطنت از قاجارها به پهلوي و نهايتا" اقدام براي زدايش هويت اسلامي و ملي و تغيير لباس مردان و كشف حجاب از زنان پرداخته است
