Paul, himself, leads the existence of a man totally unsuitable for the world, more and more foreign to this family that seems passionately devoted to its own extinction. However, the few years he spent in Florida, Miami, Constitute a unique moment of happiness in his life.
He finds there a great love, and discovers the existence of the jai alai, this sport whose beauty carries it. But these happy years pass quickly. After the death of his father, he comes across strange notebooks and finally understands what has always been hidden from him. Is Paul going to take his place in this line of men incapable of living?
