Sociology in plain language by Sadegh Zibakalam, a book with a simple, fluent, and comprehensive text, was written to familiarize the reader with the basic concepts of sociology, and it talks about 3 fundamental approaches in sociology and compares them. The complexity of the theories of sociologists such as Durkheim, Marx, Weber, etc., when combined with the complex expression and ambiguous and insufficient sentences of some commentators, will be an important factor in the difficulty of understanding these theories and the natural avoidance of students from studying these theories. Dr. Sadegh Zibakalam has tried to present a simple, comprehensive explanation in the book of sociology in plain language, away from the usual complexities of the commentators of these theories. The sociology book is simply free of rhetoric. Unarranged and direct with simple examples, it presents the fundamental concepts of sociology. This is the characteristic of Dr. Sadegh Zibakalam: "Presenting difficult concepts at the height of simplicity". The book begins with an introduction that forms the general skeleton of sociology in the reader's mind. Functional sociology is described in the first chapter. Something that may not be so strange to those who have lived in Iran and are familiar with its media propaganda apparatus. Marxism is presented in the next chapter. In the third chapter, interactionist sociology is presented. Studying this chapter, even if we don't believe it, can reveal to us the reason for many actions. Finally, Zibakalam ends the book by discussing whether sociology is a science or not. The last chapter of sociology shows in simple language with an eloquent expression why it is not possible to board the ship of positivism with faith and at least a corner of doubt, as its father, Descartes believed, is necessary in facing this wave.
