The book is a satire about a baby who refuses to get out of her mother's life because of the unjust world waiting outside. The author in the novel expresses criticism of the government for its policy and social injustice in the country. He is a visionary advocating political and social change in Ethiopia but condemns violence and killing. He urges the people to fight for justice, development and a better life.
